For those who have checked and found no information about the winter pineapple classic -- SORRY! I haven't had much chance to be on my blog (hence the long period of silence). Unfortunately, we didn't have a photographer with us, because it was just the four of us on the team who went. So, we got a few shots before and after the race, but none during. I'm still waiting for those from my sister who hasn't been able to get them to send correctly. Ugh, technology. In any case, the race was a lot of fun. There were about 10 obstacles in all throughout the course including tunnels, over-unders, tires on the ground to run through, walls to jump over and a rock wall to climb. Oh -- and monkey bars at the VERY END, just as I thought we were done. It was a fun and quick trip to Seattle. We spent the night in Tacoma Saturday and drove the rest of the way Sunday. It was nice to spend some time with my siblings, although we missed our older sister who couldn't compete because she's expecting another baby in the spring (we accepted that excuse, because we can't wait for another niece or nephew). Thanks to all who cheered us on from afar and supported us by giving to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I'll try to post those team before and after pics when I get them.
