One week ago today I officially earned a master's degree. I thought the graduation ceremony was really well done, and I had a lot of fun celebrating with my friends from the department who also finished their degrees.
My mom and one sister (Kristin) came down for the weekend, too, so that was an added bonus! I had a really great time hanging out with them and doing some sight-seeing in Stillwater and Oklahoma City. We even went to the Rattlesnake Roundup in Okeene, Okla. If that doesn't say "Oklahoma," I don't know what does :) It was pretty cool -- and, of course, we got the t-shirts and ate some snake =)
And ... last month, Kelsey, Melissa and I finished the triathlon! We all felt prepared and really good about our times. Kelsey placed second in our age group, which was AWESOME. Melissa and I were only about 30 seconds apart, even though we started at different times and weren't
together during the race. We did see each other several times and cheer each other on, though. My bike did great, too :) I'm hooked - now I'm trying to convince some of my siblings and mom to do a relay triathlon in Portland someday. And, I've already started working on Jordan to upgrade my bike -- maybe after I do a few more.

Same here ... I don't even want to think about that yet!
